business law exam week 5 tuesday..


They've pushed the exam forward one week. Cram time.

40 Multiple choice.


Any past students got tips on content of exam? e,g style of questions

How difficult is it? (it's worth 40%!!)

what was the average mark?

I found it harder than the final, from what I can remember.

You have to recall certain cases, know what they are about etc. Also know the legislation.

It's kinda hard to study for

looks like i failed then. i havent read any of the cases and i dont pay attention to it.

i was hoping they would ask questions like: what is a tort?
a)a tort is a civil wrong ..
b) ...
c)dfgdfg

definition questions are generally easier.

I have BUSL exam on tuesday too. and i'm only up to chapter 3 of the textbook now....

hopefully the exam isn't too difficult..........................

Hi anyone doing the test today? (shhy8029) , can you post some info on the exam, like do we have to know specfic case's information or just general things like what randomguy777 thinks. Also how hard it was?

Did anyone who did the test today(tuesday), see the international girl who was looking at the paper before the exam started and got caught by John Selby, and she got her paper confiscated and kicked out of the theater?

there goes her 40%...how sad is that..

and the saddest part was the exam started 5 SECONDS AFTER SHE GOT KICKED OUT!!!!!

Ok, so what questions did we get today? lemme recall..

and don't trust too much about what i say, because ours is test 1, and tommorows one will be test 2, which means the questions are different.

anyways, today we got questions on..

1. the definition of nervous shock, and battery
2. who is an ethical person
3. High/federal/state court
4. acts and legislations in NSW, not QLD, or VIC so just focus on NSW(obviously we're in NSW...)
5. the maximum amount you can get when you get injured and can't work
6. contributary negligence
7. case questions about the duty of giving information and good advice.

can't recall anymore...i always seem to forget everything when i walk out of the exam lol anyway, i think we got more than 5 questions regarding tort of negligence....

wish all the best to whoever is doing the exam tommorow...and don't ever try to look at the paper before its started...everyone in the theatre literally froze for 3 seconds when the girl got caught by John...

that was pretty sad, that girl.. why do people assume she's international? i suppose she is too.

everyone finished like 15 mins early (i did), wow she's cheating ahead of time like that's gonna help.

pretty much nothing, except when the civil liability act was made? if im not wrong i chose 2002.

the test was pretty easy except the the australian legal system chapterr where i forgot the high court stuff, and nsw district court.

don't panic for the exam, there werent really any difficult tort quesions.

I was sitting in the row in front of her, when John said "YOU FAIL!!!". She replied quietly "I dont undrastrand" LOL.

I expected to get around 18-20 but i got 29..thank god for that...

you guys/girls are smart eh? all of you beat me just by a few marks.

i wonder why the person who got 8 is still at uni, even if u didnt study for exam at least you could use general knowledge to pass it.
