Hmm...maybe but I don't think so
Maybe coz with law reform everyone talks about the similar issues that need/or have been reformed, and similar law reform agencies etc.
and it has come up twice in the past years, 02 and 06
however, different family arangements have come up more than once too, but the questions are not so specific... by that i mean
in 04:
"With reference to legal issues and remedies, evaluate the effectiveness of the law in responding to different family arrangements"
in 05:
The Law reflects the culture and values of different societies and groups within society. Evaluate this statement in relation to legal issues and remedies, affecting family members, and include a discussion of alternate family arrangements.
in 06:
Evaluate the effectiveness of law reform in achieving justice for family members, and include a description of how the law responds to different family arrangements.
my point is with law reform theres only so much to say, but with the qns above, yes they're all about alternative families, but for eg in 05 we wouldnt write as much about it as we would in 04. In Law reform we would all write same sex, IVF etc.
but at the end of the day you should still study law reform, just incase.
Im doing it for each of my issue. At the end of my notes, i have does this need reform, if so why... etc etc

I'm hoping for a reform question as well. i have a different family arrangements essay but its not as good as the reform one. reform is pretty topical at the moment with all the 2009 ammendments so hopefully they will ask one about it.

but isnt law reform almost everything? think about it. most aspects of family have been reformed. thats what ive done most times ive had that essay and ive come close to full marks.

Hey guys,
I have an assessment task due on 14 June. There are 2 long response questions we have to prepare for and its an in class test so which ever question may come up and we have to write it
The questions are:
'To what extent does law reform effectively deal with one contemporary issue concerning family law'
'Evaluate the effectiveness of legal and non-legal measures in achieving justice for parties involved in a relationship breakdown'
Also could someone advise tips on how to prepare for both and be able to write whichever one is asked and get good marks for it
