Can anyone tell me the advantages and disadvantges from using spreadsheets, databases and neural networks?

  • Perform quick calculations
  • Allows mistake to be corrected before printing. Data can also be moved and copied
  • Easy recalculations when data is altered
  • Easy formatting
  • Easy Storage
-Database-

--Advantages--
  • ease of editing
  • ease of storage
  • ease of searching
  • display options - displayed in a variety of ways including reports, tables and forms.
I am not sure about the network one:worried: . check spelling and I might be able to give some points on that.

Spreadsheets are famous for their "what-if" approach whereby changing one variable will have instant flow on effects which make decision making for the user alot easier.

Databases are good for storing large amounts of data, and with search/query/reports, the user can find the exact answer which they are looking for without too much effort.

Not too sure about neural networks though- I remember reading about them in the textbook but nothing more.
