my 2cents - "violence against women... australia says no!"

and wuddie ... how are women suppose to grow balls?! what world do u live in??!! such a diabolical act must be stopped! someone tell Iemma to make laws stopping women from growing balls!!

so what exactly will happen if domestic violence turns into murder? is there still an 'attachment' involve? should the criminal still be excused and avoid the justice because there is emotional attachment between him/her and the victim? this is down right ridiculous.

someone should have brought this policy into place years ago. since when can someone get away with violence because there is an attachment?

You somehow missed the ever so obvious point, wuddie, and that is that the attachment element present in cases of domestic violence means that the issue is far more complex than a 'mere' act of random violence. Just how can a woman 'grow some balls' when they are the victim of both physical and mental abuse? How can a person with little to no self-esteem as a result of an abusive relationship bring themselves to contact the police just like that? How is it just a matter of choice?

Next time try and read what is on the screen. It does tend to help.
