Many tried to run away but were captured and killed or worse, there were many ppl trying to help the jews in Germany and around Europe but they mostly got caught by the SSS.

I think you have got to be the most insensitive person on these forums!! I totally agree with waddle!! Those people didn't die and in a way i guess they are glad but they had to watch their friends, families, their people die and be tortured in horrible ways. Those that actually did survive the war were scarred emotionally for life, wen they were found by the allies some had no had eaten or drank anything for days, months and weeks on end and they were so skinny they'd make ally mc'beal look fat. Don't you DARE say they 'should be happy'!! What would you do if you weren't given food for months, had to watch your family and friends be tortured and die and survive all of it to have dumb insenstitive fucks like you say it wasn't that bad?!

They HAD to go to the concentration camps!! If they didn't comply with the Nazi orders they would have been shot onsight and they obviously wanted to live. How could they 'run away' in a country where everyone who was different was prosecuted, shot, killed, experimented on and tortured. They had all sorts of horrors done to them and their loved ones all because Hitler didn't approve of their religion, race, gender or sexual orientation. It wasn't just the jews that were persecuted against although they were the main victims, Hitler killed gays, cripples, women, men, jews and anyone else he thought inferior to him. Although the ironic thing is that he came from a Jewish heritage himself.

Of people going in skin and bone and not coming out. There weren't any bodies to find because once they were put in these rooms and gased, killed or experimented on their bodies were burned!! And the worst part is that they got fellow jews in the concentration camps to burn the bodies of their people so they knew what fate awaited them.

I don't hate Tatoodguy i just think he needs to lighten up and stop being ethnocentric (tatoodguy that means THINKING you're race is superior to everyone elses) which is obviously the wrong way of thinking. Go to the holocaust museum in Sydney and see EVIDENCE of what has happened. I understand your skepticism in this vastly incoherently cautious world but you also have to have compassion, empathy and understanding. Just ask those people that have been affected, the men and women who remember the concentration camps. There are a lot of them. Are you saying that they had some mass drug induced halucination and dreamed the entire thing up?? And yeah maybe i am a nice sweet sensitive person but that doesn't mean im weak. It takes the bigger man (or woman) to admit they're way of thinking is inadequate and benile.
