You know, dentists can give people vampire teeth, I don't see why plastic surgeons can't give people different ears :D

Actually I get my teeth sharpened once a year, but not to that extreme.

On a similar note, I think I'll just settle for the removable spock ears you see at trekkie-cons (not that I've been to any). :)

carginogen basically means something that causes cancer...many food additives have been banned because they are carginogenic, and many others are suspected carcinogens

Chewing gum, in excess, is carcinogenic. Asbestos is carcinogenic (when the fibres are lodged in the lung tissue).

Excessive consumation of the product may have a 'laxative effect' - hahahaha :)

Maybe you dont chew enough of it to have that effect.. or you eat food just as much as u chew gum.

it only creates a laxitive effect cos when u chew gum, ur stomach thinks ur eating thus resulting in the laxitive effect..

err.. I think thats right..

No, that's not quite true. It's more to do with the fluid nature of the "gum" (flavour+saliva) as it enters the stomach. Basically your stomach is filled up with spit and that's what you excrete. :p

Well I could easily be wrong as well. I didn't bother to confirm that explanation, it's just what I remember being taught. Not that it matters, the image I provided should be enough to lever people off the gumjuice diet. :p

that theory sounds more likely than the spit in stomach one. We always have spit in our stomachs so why would adding the flavour of gum make it have a laxative effect?
