A Note from the Moderators:
Please keep in mind not to give out the actual questions or a copy of the paper as there are copyright issues, not the mention the fact that some students may do the same paper as you at a different date and it is still within the security period.

Good luck guys.

I believe it's actually quite a reasonable and straight-forward test.

i.e. if you have studied of course.... :)

what else could you talk about in the question. I wrote g-forces and communication problems once the rocket enters the van allen radiation belt

I thought the exam was super easy... but i may have misread the last question in the graph question. I thought it asked how to work out the direction of the force without calculations but apparently that wasn't it >.>

btw what was happening to the gravitational potential energy during first stage of launch?

&& what was the issue with the launch for the taikonauts?
said something about g-forces too...and needing more fuel/energy in order to accelerate and travel to such altitudes within a short period of time.

that's not right at all..is it?:mad1:

I wrote gravatational potential energy is increasing during launch as the rocket is losing mass from fuel consumption and thus losing kinetic energy. From Law of conservation of energy (state definition here) the rocket must be gaining gravatational potenial enegy as it moves upwards
