I agree, In2Physics is really good. Jacaranda is ....well it is debatable.

I have got Jacaranda for both Physics and Chem.
Do I need to go through the notes that my teacher gave me? The school doesn't give us the textbooks, I bought it.

Textbook and what else do I need to cover my course?

:)

And why doesn't the Jacaranda Physics have answers to exercise questions at the end of each chapter like Jacaranda Chemistry?

in2physics is rubbish~~!!.
If you want a quick summary, excel is good
Jacaranda drags on a bit
Phys in Focus is probably the better option.

I found all the phys books are crap compared to chem where all of the books are good.

science in focus is the best. especially if you want concise info structured to each dot point

So Jacaranda and Excel is sufficient for my HSC?

In2Physics is very good, though I must admit parts are not necessarily. More for those with a keen interest.

Lol it's a bit late asking this question since you're nearly finished the course. But from what i've heard, Physics in Focus is decent.

yeah, but I'd also get physics in focus.

yeah but the parts which aren't necessary come frequently and it gets so tiresome to sift through the info that I end up using a different book. =/.

Really any good solid book should be enough. Coupled with lots of question asking and some research.

Knowing too much > Knowing the 'syllabus' > Not knowing enough

Unless you know enough to contradict all the incorrect stuff in the HSC Physics course...

I find In2 Physics fantastic altough the use of conics to explain orbits? (i think) was a bit.. unnecessary.., a great deal of it is written for the more capable student.
