This is all over facebook also. The new proposed system doesn't sound bad at all. Honestly, I think it's worth looking at the email that UWS sent out about how it will be implemented and what this means for students. A lot of universities have this system and it sounds great! No more first in first served basis where the system shuts you out. No more missing out on classes. Give the system a try before you get upset.

Yeah, even though the system won't effect me it does sound better for everyone.
It's much more fair.

Try before you complain about it. I actually quite like it and is easier and more in favor to the students than the old system. I prefer this.
