I love kilometrico pens. I also have this little black bic pen, which I can write really fast with. Used it in the hsc and my uni exams( I saved it for essays:) )

I used to hate gel pens until i discovered the Piolet V7 pens.

They write so smoothly and are fine and dont smudge.

I only use them for exams though, they cost an arm and a leg!

I've restricted the use of my gel pens to Cosmology-related work, damn they're expensive, but so good :eek:

yup the ones with the weired tips.
I got it when i was young but hated it, then suddenly i picked it up (in year 11), used it and loved it. Actually my fountain pen went to every single HSC and trial HSC exam. :)
i always carry a spare pen (or 3 during hsc :p ) just in case.

Re: study notes =D

for my every one of my hsc trials i brought in 5 black pens, 2 red pens, 2 blue pens and 3 pencils, a rubber, and whiteout. on my desk i always had all the black pens, and 1 red and blue one.

for my maths exam i had all 5 black pens, 1 blue pen, 2 red pens, 3 pencils, 2 rulers, a rubber, a compas/protractor set and 2 calculators..

i like being prepared if u can't tell :p

Oh and i use Staedtler Stick 430 Medium Ballpoint Pens - i've been using the same blue, red and black pens for my entire yr 12 work - draft assignments, class work, and all exams and practice essays for english. i've only had to add one black pen to the pile cos the other two never wanted to work from the beginning... all my pens are going strong still.

I always get paid out for taking 2 calculators into my math exam. But theyll wish they took two when one of theirs runs out in the middle of the exam though.... Lol, oh and i have two different types of calculators, coz i prefer to do some things on one and then others on the other one...

I always thought that everyone took at least one spare pen into an exam. Then I saw this guy in my Human Biology exam. He took in one pen, and then it ran out. Took about five minutes for the supervisors to find him another pen.

I just buy the papermate pens in bulk and in the trial I carried 5 blues and 2 blacks. Only one of these eventually ran out and I have been using them for two terms. That's mighty good if you ask me. I'd prefer to buy pens in bulk like that, rather than spending more money on a good but single pen. Papermates are for cheapskates like me.

...I can't deny the satisfaction of a good brand pen, however. XDDD;
