1. How many years do you go back doing past papers before your exam ie: if exam is in 2012 do you do past papers from 2008 to 2011 or a different combination?

2. How many past papers do you do from each subject?

You do as many as you can get your hands on

In terms of what 'years' you do, start from the year that there was a major syllabus change
e.g. science is 2001, english is 2009

what about 2U, 3U and 4U maths?
Maths is pretty much just papers. Not sure about 2U or 3U but for for 4U, you could do all the HSC papers from the 80's onwards if you wanted to because the syllabus is essentially unchanged. Defs do all of the recent ones because school trial papers are easier than HSC so its good to practice on actual HSC.

For me personally, I didn't do that many HSC papers during the year but did other school's trials instead but yeah, now I want to focus on actual HSC papers

Is it worth it to do past papers from other schools ie: for half yearly and trials if you have past papers from your current school?
