(2nd down) 'analyse the significance of hydrogen spectrum..." and (5th down) "describe how bohrs postulates led to the...maths model"

arent the 2 ideas the same thing? in the 2nd one, the hydrogen spectrum allowed bohr to devise his hypothesis (im not going into details here) and for the 5th one, he used his hypotheses to arrive at balmers and rydbergs empirical eqn?

They're not really the same thing. The first dotpoint is showing what lead to the Bohr model of the atom while the 5th is about how his model was used to predict the wavelength of photons emitted from the Hydrogen atom.

yeh, i dont know if im right here, but the hydrogen spectrum led to the postulates, and from the postulates bohr arrived at the empirical equation for hydrogen spectrum...its like one is the reverse of the other. and i asked the hsc advice line, they said they 'do overlap'.
