How did you guys approach the paper, as in, in which order?

For me, I went backwards - ie. doing the essay response, creative response and then the short respones

To me, I reckon it was the best approach as it gave me sufficient time for each section. I didn't realise that I went over time for the essay response. At home it took me 35 minutes to copy but during the exam, it took me like 45-50 =| The creative response took me 40 minutes (again, it took me 30 minutes to copy at home) and the short responses, I took half an hour and managed to finish on time!

i did the essay first, then short answers then creative writing

i cant seem to focus being creative while i know that i have other stuff that i could do...
doing creative last gives me less things to worry about while writing creatively

I did it in order just because I wanted to get short response done to know exactly how much time I have for my essay/creative writing- when you think about it they all have equal marks so i thought it was the best way to go.

Ronnknee when you say you copied your essay at home do you mean that you re-wrote it onto another sheet while you were looking at a copy? If so, just as a suggestion- it will always take longer to write an essay from memory so try doing that at home. That's the technique I use to memorise my essays and suprisingly everytime it actually takes me 5 or so minutes less in the exam- maybe it's the rush?

1) essay
- hard to remember quotes, this way my weakest section doen first
2) creative
- not hard, but quite a bit of writing, get it over and done with
3) unseen texts
- fav part. nothing that you need to remember for it.

God i loved our unseen texts for trials :)

Haha Baby K, yea I do copy my essay from another sheet but I also do it from memory as well

I do my copying on one of those very thin notepads. Maybe there's less friction writing on it as opposed to normal A4 paper haha, I don't know

But damn, for Paper 2 I wish I could've written faster
