Hey everyone,

could you please explain to me the difference between overt and covert industrial disputes please.

overt = it is open to everyone and many people can see it - e.g a huge picket line outside the businees (like in Billy Elliot)
covert = it is closed and only the business will experience it - e.g. workers being absent on purpose

Think of it as Overt = Open, Covert = Closed
