i thought this might be a good way to exchange intelligent thought on Sally Potter's 'Orlando'.
I find the text a little difficult to wrap my head around so maybe we can all rub off a bit on each other..

How does 'Orlando' foreground issues regarding gender?

the first line of the movie. "there must be no doubt regarding his gender" or what ever.



But i have another question.
Does orlando always try to establish her identity in relation to other people? someone said this in class today and i couldnt work out how....
