Oh, then that's a genuine reason to miss it. Try to get to at least one day of the orientation though, so you can find stuff out about the university and also about some of the groups/societies.

Well, possibly not in the big city unis, but there certainly are at Griffith, Bond, UNE, UQ. There will be college parties no doubt, but if you're not in a college, you'll have to try and sneak into one!
