agreed, altho im from a relatively low ranked school we have someone who is a national public speaker and an overall excellent student in english and she is only coming top 10. There are just that many good english students....wish i was one of them

I'm going for 95+, but I can get that without aiming at state ranks. But if they happen (so unlikely), BONUS lol

They give them top 20 for any somewhat big candidature course, it is less for smaller courses.

And j_uhrig, I looked up 1st in course and the person who came first in business studies was from pymble. Someone from my school came first in a subject a few years ago, pretty rare.

How much sleep do you get????? i need like 8-9hrs a day otherwise im like Grr

I have 130 in my year and 115 in the Chort for English (some people do English Studies)

We have one girl who gets 100% in everything, she is tank and is soo good

Everyone who is aiming for a ATAR of 90+ should aim for a state rank in a subject

I'm aiming for 97.5 and I don't want a state ranking in anything... Although, I'm aiming for a premier's award, which is why I have 10 units apart from English but, I'm not getting a band 6 in SOR2 any time soon.

I get about 3-4 hours sleep a night but not from studying, mostly from procrastinating homework.
There's a picture of some guy from a few years ago that got a UAI of 100 at my school in the study hall with the brother that used to teach him extension 2 maths... The brother is now suffering from dementia and walks around the school yards after school and talks to himself about trigonometry and stuff.
Maths makes you go crazy! YAY!

On topic: I have an SOR2 speech on Buddhist Environmental Ethics tomorrow and I have no idea what to do... We haven't done this shit in class yet!!!

Going back a bit here, but I somehow feel I won't get an all rounders, because I'll be like one of my siblings and have Band 6's for everything but an 89 in one. I think it'd be English for me, which would be ironic as it would be the same mark I got in the SC. But I'm aiming for a Premier's Award!
