Opinions on the Lexus IS200/300? (1 Viewer)

6 Speed Manual, Gunmetal Grey Sports Luxury is what I'm looking at for my next car.

I know the IS300 would be the better choice (larger engine, blah blah), but they are rare in comparison and more expensive.

What's your budget like? I personally am not that much of a fan and saw it more as a glamorous Corolla rather than a 3 series competitor. What's your intention with the car (i.e. is it something you care a lot about, plan to mod, cost or hassle of ownership, etc)? Really depends on what you want though- if you want a car which has Toyota reliability with a bit more style than a Corolla then it's great but if it were my money I'd probably look at other options.

I've always seen Lexus' as glorified Toyotas myself. They're far too soft to be taken seriously as an enthusiasts' car.

they are great because you can rip phat skids in them and pull girls simultaneously because they are a luxury euro car and rwd
