I've asked my teachers for Maths 3U, Chemistry and Physics. It appears that from my ranks as follows till the 1st position:

3/11 for Chemistry
3/21 for Physics
4/8 for Maths 3U

Most of the guys would be looking at 85+ HSC Exam Marks, at the least.

I kinda of feel shitty that I didn't come first in any of my subjects. It was a close battle, but I still didn't pull through. I feel most concerned about my parents - being asian; they would probably think I'm doing badly in my HSC. Should I be feeling upset?

It's not your parents who are going through HSC at the moment. They should support you and accept whatever you get (given that you tried your best).

School rank: ~Mid 300 because it is a new school.
To make estimation more effective for you guys, a guy from previous year group did exactly same subjects as I did, but his cohort was pathetic... He got the following results:

* Mathematics 3U --> 2/8 with 70% School Assessment Mark
* Mathematics 4U --> 1/2 with 48% School Assessment Mark
* Advanced English --> ~23/32 with 58% School Assessment Mark
* Studies of Religion --> 58/62 with 47% School Assessment Mark
* Chemistry --> 1/8 with 82% School Assessment Mark
* Physics --> 1/14 with 79% School Assessment Mark

----> His UAI was 92.16

What do you think I would get, considering I am stronger in English?

i think i know him by the looks of his rankings for the sciences and maths lol

Wait, what happens if your mark for a subject is 70 and your ranked 12th - and in the HSC Exams, the 12th highest HSC Mark was 60, will my mark still remain as 70 or will it drop down to 60?
