watsdoinsexy what's ur dress like? i love dscussing hair styles and stuff and trying to match them to dresses... i'm tyring to decide whether or not to do my own hair cos in year 10, the hairdressers burnt my scalp

jenster black and red's never going to date, i useta love it so much but i've already done the whol red/black thing... it looks absolutely gorgeous doesn't it? i woulda loved a red or silver or black tiara to go with it.. but like a chrome kinda silver colour? a dull silver tiara... wouldn't taht look so nice in ur hair? what are you planning to do hair wise?

lazychic i don't do consumerism... is that a extension option? I'm doing the individual and society for extension which means i'm heaps stuck for supp. texts... i just don't like most of the stuff from that period but it's only my own fault... takes too much tiem to appreciate? lazy little me! Cos i absolutely love the texts i'm doing but findin supp. texts is so hard!

sorlui the most dangerous lies are those which contain a tiny element of truth right? but now, there's no way 'lui' could be made to sound like boy in canto i dun think.

mia are you asian or skip or...? cos i'm just wondering what the red fudge will turn out like. How long is your dress? Cos if it's a really long dress, then the shoe decision is slightly less important. Some of ym friends wanted to see if they could get away with wearing thongs. Btw, that's heaps sweet how your friend made ur dress for you, sounds like a really nice dress. I wish i could wear somtehing clingy. Umm, if you're asian, then perhaps a black shoe with metallic red on top? actually, no that'd clash with the red of your dress. Be more specific girl, what type of red, dif. reds go with dif. colours. Some reds go terribly with black and some are just stunning. How about a silver shoe? silver would onlywork if it weren't a strappy shoe, but perhaps you could find a nice silver shoe to suit?

Hmmm, well you don't want to introduce too many colors so I'm guessing you're tossing up red or black and maybe you've thought of say white or silver or something. I think a clear shoe would look nice, have you seen them around? I'm not sure cos clear shoes depend on your feet as well. I saw some shoes from Grace Bro's last year, they had a clear covering over the toes - some were plain and some had a flower or something. Some dramatic looking nailpolish under that? Somethng like red, with a stripe or something? I'm not sure cos i'm thinking of red there less that blood red I guess.
If it's a darker red, then I guess the norm is just black or a red that matches. Can't think of anything else, prob. still brain dead from the trials

For my hair, i'/m getting foils done, then put in curls, half up, half down with a diamond tiara......

What do you think?

ely Nice, I'm really jealous cos that's exactly what Iwant to do, except with a chrome, unstudded tiara. Though I'm not sure, cos I'm thinking of going in a black and white dress.

Or do you reckon i should get streaks instead?

oh, that would look really pretty!

i think the foils vs streaks depends on what kind of hair you have - if you have fine hair i think streaks look nicer, but if you're lucky enough to have nice fat hair, i think i would go w/ the foils :)

Yeh but because i am having it half up half down, you might not be able to see the foils all that much.......oh well, i'm only getting them to lighten my hair for summer :)

good, point ely - i hadn't thought of that!

and black hair isn't so bad - one of my friends has really dark hair and for the yr10 formal she had these sort of shimmery silver streaks put thru it. they weren't permanent or anything, but they looked mad!!! i think it was some kind of fudge type thing...

i'm not sur what to do cos i'm going for a black and white dress atm and so i want to keep it to those two colours you konw? But my hair's already black and I'm not exactly going to put white streaks through it.

I know black hair's good sometimes, it looks good with really subtle red-mahogany highlights for example. And I can see silver streaks looking good. I'm just thinking it's a little boring for formal?
