Oh and i can't believe you didn't mention mass effect. you will love it. similar gameplay to kotor, but a lot more action packed. download a gameplay trailer and drool. the graphics are just....wow!

i have a feeling that mass effect will be the best game of this year, even better than halo 3 and assassin's creed.

Yeah I know, just having a bit of a larf. 360's first real killer app claims to be 360 exclusive, but it's now getting released on the PC. Same kind of deal that happened with the xbox.

perhaps it will happen in two years like Halo was. By that time owning a 360 will more than justify itself. Console exclusivity deals seem to cover a year max, for a game. 2 years is more than enough. By that stage Gears of War 2 will likely be out on the system and everyone would have forgotten about GoW1.

My 360 broke today Luckily MS Support agreed to repair it for free even though:
i) The warranty has run out
ii) The consoles was born overseas and is an NTSC-U/C (not compatible with Oz) version
iii) I am a gay.

I played worms - great fun.
It seems to be a hardware error (seems to be a GPU problem, as initially my 'next-gen' games started freezing up but the regular dashboard and arcade games loaded fine).
The overall turnaround-time for their repairs is about 2 weeks:
Sent it today (Wednesday)
They will receive it tomorrow
They'll start work on it Next week
Will send it back around Thursday/Friday
Should get it the week after.

In my experience... MS is pretty good with honouring their warranty in a timely manner. For me they sent me a prepaid box with everything I need to send my (original) Xbox in and get it fixed.
That's definitely a contributor to me buying the 360.
Sony on the other hand seem to try and claim it's not their problem whenever something went wrong with my Sony products... which has definitely made me not want to buy Sony products unless there's no other choice (eg. PS3 for Gran Turismo).
