I dont know why anyone would complain about a 75 or above WAM.
I mean, im sitting on 65 ish for BSc in Statistics, so what fucking hope is there for someone like me, lol
And its not like I dont try my hardest haha
Id love 75+

Some of us want to do honours or transfer into degrees that require high wams

i understand that, but so many people might feel humbled because they are no where near ~75, which is nothing to scoff at imo.
Imo just me but i think ~70 is a good result for many people.

A bit selfish, maybe, but when it comes to myself I expect minimum HD.

Do many people get HD's in math/stat/actl (assuming thats actuarial) @ unsw?

People have different standards they set for themselves - worry about your own, no need to shit on other's goals

Oh I think it's just personal standards, I wanna get something more out of my degree then just mindlessly cramming which is what I felt I did this sem...
I've done this for like so many law courses that it's not even funny.

Dang, I thought actl ppl had good employment prospects
Traditional actuarial roles are hard to get but if you don't mind working in Big 4 or banks, it's not bad.

Having high expectations isn't really selfish at all.

That being said, I definitely would not survive in Law with such a mindset.
