So does a friend of mine. But i'd say that you guys are probably the only two people in the state doing that combination - it's not exactly popular.
actually quite a few people do... when i saw the combo i was like aiiii... coz yeah many people at my school do both. But you know, at least they are both sciences and in some senses overlap a bit. It's better that than having two completely different subjects

ok mine sucks more ass than anyone elses. lol:)

i have 4 exams cramed into 4 days (excluding weekend) and 2 are on the same day.. THEN i have 7 days to study for pdhpe then 8 days to study for legal. i mean.. the break in between is FANTASTIC for legal and pdhpe.. but i mean. come on. i wish allmy exams were more spread out. I wish they had one english one at the beginning of the hsc exams and one at the end. it wouldbe so much better. I hate english. No wait, i hate school.

19 Oct - English

24 Oct - Chem
1 Nov - Ancient History
2 Nov - English extension 1

I'm worried that my Ex1 will suffer because I'm trying to learn all the facts for Ancient :S ah well.. at least I finish early enough...

Re: HSC Exam Timetable?

Oh sweet, I unwittingly got first post in a stickied thread. Now I look semi-important!

bos should be ashamed...english, business studies and chemistry in 3 consecutive days...and maths and biology after it :(:(
Yeah, that sucks pretty bad. I'll live, but it'd be nice to have a break before Chem, I must say.

BRING ON NOVEMBER 1ST!!!!
Agreed!

Music being on after English isn't too bad, it isn't like it requires a huge amount of study. Hell, the time between the exams is enough if you've been doing the same kind of exams the whole year.

I'm pretty pleased with my 4/5 day break before Maths, and also with my day break before Ext 1. Then I have an afternoon and a morning to bust my ass for Software and the marathon is over.

It's strange that I finish so early with such a big break. My exam timetables are always weird - I was first to finish my half yearlies despite doing the most number of units of anyone (not sure how many others do 13 units).

Does anyone else in the state have two exam clashes?

As in, First day of exams, I'm expected to do Italian Beginners and Latin Continuers at the same time... (and then not stuff up my Area of Study paper the next day, which I'm nervous enough about) and on the last day of exams, I'm supposed to do Art theory and Latin Extension at the same time. I don't know whether to laugh or cry. And I'm getting the feeling I should have done Software instead, and designed a proper timetabling program for them.

Your going to have to get incontact with people at the school who will then inform BOS. You will still have to do the exams they will just change the times for them (still the same day though) and any breaks you have will be supervised etc.

Pros:
-I finish on the 2nd (ext english)!
English isnt my birthday! (seeing as my birthday's the 18th, i was so scared of this -happening)

Cons:
-I have maths-bio-health-*one free day*-ext in the second week of exams...!!!! (i predict a minor meltdown)
-I'll be studying for english on my 18th birthday, going to bed early, and starting my hsc the next day.
