AAP
HSC students across Sydney will have to re-sit a statewide English exam after it was released early to one school.
Cheltenham Girls High School in Sydney's north, sat the test one week before the HSC trial exams began last Monday.
Fears are now held that the questions were circulated to students at other schools, allowing them to cheat, The Daily Telegraph reports.
Several schools have since opted to re-sit the exam, including Carlingford Boys High, Normanhurst Boys, North Sydney Boys and Marsden High School at West Ryde.
The trial exams are worth between 20-40 per cent of a student's school-based assessment, which goes towards their final HSC mark.
Bah! I hope notgoan_crazy said:something unrelated, but relates to all of us

We all have to resit the exam
EVERYONE!
ahh yes!!1 got that right... how much was the simplifying worth for part (i) was it worth 1...r.haidar said:loge of e^2ax... bring the power down (log law) and u get 2ax loge of e
log e of e is just 1 so u get 2ax
then the integration is just
integral btwn 0 and a of 2ax
u get 2ax^2 / 2 which = [ax^2] (0 and a)
then u sub in values
and u get a^3
hope that helps
damn I got the series question wrongphysician said:ahh yes!!1 got that right... how much was the simplifying worth for part (i) was it worth 1...
cause i just played around with my calculator for that one... i subbed lne15... for example u'd get that it equals 15 therefore lne2ax = 2ax.... but that's all the working out that i put... but if it's worth 1 mark i presume i should get that mark? correct?
oh and by the way to ur question earlier...
yeh i got 29 for the series question .. 29 terms for the sum of the series to equal 0
