90 - x 3uniter, 77- x 3 uniter, 69-x 3 uniter and I got 63% but I was happy with that considering it was the first thing I'd passed the whole fkn course.
I failed my 1st 2 assessments-46%and 44%

im sorry thats the case champ but its nothing a bit of solid study cant fix for the hsc !

I hate the x 3uniters because they shine and the original 2unit people look shit compared to them.
E.g. yr11 2unit was pretty average overall
I came 1st with 51% out of the 2unit ppl (excluding 3unit of course)
However now there are majority of the original class gone 2 general or dropped maths altogether, the 3units get heaps well and we still go shit.
E.g. in half yearly in my class only

Hopefully I'll do better in this trial.

But but 3 uniters have to work much harder than the 2uniters lol...The amount of time that we spend on maths at school and at home...I was thinking of dropping but I already got through half the year so must well finish it.

it went 44% 1st assessment
46% 2nd assessment
63% 1/2 yearly
69% assessment 4
if I get over 70% in this trial i'll be over the moon

question 10b ii and iii had the maximum and mimimum thingy, all u do is solve the second derivative to equal zero and u got the answer

Performing the first derivative test would've taken you far less time to prove it.

hey guys... the CSSA 2005 maths 2unit exam was piss easy! i mean comon question 10 was a joke, 8 n 9 were hard only coz they took long but i still finished with 1 hour to go, how did everyone else go.... ps im not cocky so dont get all cut at me just coz i did better than u hahahah just kidding i rekon i did awesome

I agree, i finished with an hour to go too. So i redid every single question lol Twas so boring.

i found it not to bad this comming from a student who hasnt gotten over 30% for any 2u maths papers so far although i do admit as i walked to the car i remembered how to do a few of the big q's...i was so fkn pissed

Yeah, I understand what you mean, but you could've done the question without even having to find the second derivative by using the first derivative test - that is, you could've just tested points on either side. Much less messy and time consuming for that particular question.
