Does Anyone know the percentage of HSC graduates that get a UAI of 85+, 90+ or 95+. i just wanna know how competitive the UAI is?

I think the % of 90+ is 16% or something the others I dont know.

it's around 1.5 percent per UAI point

2% get >= 99.
16% get >= 90.
30% get >= 80.

That's all I remember.

and the ones that get below 30.00 uai are not included in the statistics coz of some reason i forgot......LoLz

there is an actual reason behind it?! i thought it was just cos it was humiliating or something....

Is the 16% of students that get UAI90+, are the ones that applied for UAI or every single student that completes the HSC, is part of the statistic.

Approximately 16% of HSC students achieve UAIs of 90 or above.

Every student has a UAI calculated for them - they can just choose whether or not they want to be told what it is.

Let me fill this in for Laz. The 30 - 0 UAI people are filled by the candidates who left after year 10.

from what i remembered the uai means that u actually did the hsc!
u cant be in the statistic if u left after yr 10?

No.

It believed that people who stay on to complete their HSC will do better than those who left in year 10. It's also believed marks attained during the SC and the HSC are similar (in correlation).

It's not true in all cases.
