just wondering if anybody has an idea of how many ppl are sitting the hsc this yr? and how many did the school certificate in 06?

because the uai rankings is a ranking of how you went against everyone that went through the school certificate with you, whether they kept going or not. 87056 ppl sat sc with us in 06... which pretty much means you instantly beat 20000 ppl.

Well not instantly.
If their projected HSC score is higher, they could still "beat you"
However generally the people who drop out tend to have lower SC scores.
