jesus christ that's insane - how did you go??? what are you doing for hsc now??I accelerated chemistry in year 10, no problem at all.
it wouldn't be common ion effect bc ur just adding more of the magnesium sulfate solid (that has the radioactive stuff in it, isotope i think), ur not adding another different substancewhat but the MgSO4 thing like wait how do i include equations in here
View attachment 39164
here, solid dissociation
I got a 95 in chem and now I've only got ext 2 maths and adv eng to do.jesus christ that's insane - how did you go??? what are you doing for hsc now??
ffs guys I keep getting 80% - how do I improvethanks guys
please stick around im so close to getting to the end of the paper
theres just 2 common ions in this case?it wouldn't be common ion effect bc ur just adding more of the magnesium sulfate solid (that has the radioactive stuff in it, isotope i think), ur not adding another different substance
thats damn insaneI got a 95 in chem and now I've only got ext 2 maths and adv eng to do.
if ur school does CSSA trials do past ones thereffs guys I keep getting 80% - how do I improve
80% is quite solid, especially for a school like nsg. A raw mark of 83 usually aligns to a band 6 in the hsc, so you still have plenty of time to improveffs guys I keep getting 80% - how do I improve
thank you, you toothats damn insane
you are gonna fly this year - good luck
considering they're mistakes that are pretty easy to fix over a short amt of time, its not like ur totally clueless abt the content. u got thisffs guys I keep getting 80% - how do I improve
I just went over this - is methanoic acid not HCOOH, which has a mm of 46??Question 8:
Ethanol and methanoic acid will reflux to produce ethyl methanoate (an ester). You should first write out an equation for this
Determine the number of moles of both ethanol and methanoic acid. This can be done by using n = m/MM
n(ethanol) = 3.50g / 46.068 g/mol = 0.07597 mol
n(methanoic acid) = 5.75g / 60.052g/mol = 0.09575 mol
Ethanol is the limiting reagent meaning it gets used up completely.
Therefore, the n(ethyl methanoate) = 0.07597 mol since they are in a 1:1 stoichiometry ratio
Now you can calculate the mass of the product extracted
m(ethyl methanoate) = 0.07597 mol x 74.078 g/mol = 5.63g
However, the mass was found to be 24% of the expected result
So 5.63g x 0.24 = 1.35g
he is the mistake thoconsidering they're mistakes that are pretty easy to fix over a short amt of time, its not like ur totally clueless abt the content. u got this
speak for urselfhe is the mistake tho
yeah look nothing i can do about that unfortunately.he is the mistake tho
ud think they woulda returned him by nowyeah look nothing i can do about that unfortunately.do your parents still have your receipt?
^^^ @bigman19191I just went over this - is methanoic acid not HCOOH, which has a mm of 46??
oh oops, yeah you're correct. The answer does not change tho but good spotI just went over this - is methanoic acid not HCOOH, which has a mm of 46??
Inflammation: Occurs when injured cells release chemokines. This attracts neutrophils and also acts on mast cells, causing them to release histamine. Mast cells alert the body after detecting foreign material, releasing chemical signals and blood is rushed to the area, bringing white blood cells. Dilation of blood vessels and infiltration of inflammatory cells at the site of infection causes heat, pain, redness, swelling, and the acute loss of function. When tissues are damaged, they release histamines which increase permeability of proximal blood vessels and allow WBCs to travel more easily to the site. The purpose of inflammation is to eliminate the cause of injury (the pathogen), clear out necrotic cells from the area of infection, and initiate tissue repair by stimulating the flow of blood to the area. By heating the area, pathogens are subjected to higher temperatures which may deactivate them due to their enzymes, stopping infection. Increased temperature enhances activity of white blood cells.ud think they woulda returned him by now
can i plagarise this for bio <3Inflammation: Occurs when injured cells release chemokines. This attracts neutrophils and also acts on mast cells, causing them to release histamine.
