There are a number of resources you can access to get notes about crime.

Visit the LIAC (Legal Information Access Centre) website, which will give you detailed information on cases and theories in relation to crime. Your local library will have access to the LIAC centre, and most libraries do have trained staff to help you understand or explain some legal processes.

www.liac.sl.nsw.gov.au

Also visit the Beyond Bars website, in relation to the effectiveness of the prison system

www.beyondbars.org.au

Also, try government organisations such as Legal Aid, in relation to the rights of the prisoner, and the role of legal aid in criminal cases.

It would be incredibly difficult to find any proper notes with complete details in relation to crime, as it is a large content course. Don't forget to investigate your case study (eg: The Western Suburbs Rape Cases (MAK, MSK etc)) as these can be vital in your HSC Examination.

Also, be aware of the courts system, the sentencing process, means for prosecuting or sentencing a prisoner, the rights of the victim and the accused, and mitigating circumstances. These are usually the questions you will be confronted with.

Good luck with your studies
