New physics in focus book? (1 Viewer)

Has anyone seen the new physics in focus book? it looks really well laid out as it has the syllabus dot point and then information. If anyone has it could you tell me if it is any good.

is this bettter than Jacaranda...cuz i am just about to buy it :mad1:

and i know its off topic, but does the new edition of Physics 2 Jacaranda have any significant changes from the previous edition. Cuz i think our school provides us with the 1 or 2n edition.....so i might be better purchasing contexts or Focus.

I am using this book now. I think this book is very good, much better than any books/study guides out there. I personally recommond it.

The info they have are not as overloaded and too much as the Jacaranda, but then not too brief but just enough for you to know and to cover that particular do point.

We're basically learning out of this book at school now and it explains things really well

Nah, the new Jacaranda edition is almost identical to the old one except its more pretty + some of the mistakes got corrected.

If you really want it, I've got a pdf version of the textbook which I can upload...

actually comparing the old jacaranda which a friend bought with the newer version id say there are many more mistakes in the newer version

Why would you want that book? It's a pile of crap sometimes. It blabs on too much in my opinion.

i vouch this book.
xiao was my physics/chemistry tutor. nothing short from brilliant.
although i finished my hsc '06, im sure his books are as solid as this textbook.
