l.I have been with a guy for 4 months already and we feel that we can almost become intimate.
however I'm very health conscious but i don't want to offend or hurt his feelings.
if you been in this situation, how did you approach them for STD test, mutually of course?
is it common to do this these days or would you just ask the guy upfront if he's positive for anything.

Or alternatively, if you want to be subtle, go donate blood together. They check the blood for all that stuff (especially if you tick 'new partner - since last donation'). Then you never even need to ask, plus you're giving to the community.

I think its totally an "in your own time" kinda thing. Some people take 1 day some people take 6-12 months or more!

@ OP - both you and your partner should be willing and happy to get tested. If he gets upset about it, I'd think it suss.
