hey, i just got my offer for my first preference

Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) - full time at University of Sydney, Cumberland campus

So who's going to Cumberland? see ya all on Thursday 27th ? :)

Anyways, I didn't get USYD, I got Newcastle (first pref- w00t!), but I just wanted to say congrats..and, knowing OT, we will probably meet some day.

I'll be going to Cumberland, but my enrolment day is on Tuesday so maybe I'll see ya around campus instead. :)

yeah i got into cumberland, heaps of people are doing medical Radiation science and have chose nuclear med. Has anyone chosen Diagnostic radiography? that seems to be less popular :s

i didnt choose nuclear med really...it was second to radiation thereapy. Diagnostic would have been my real choice if i thought i would have gotten that higgh

Hey Lipsoti! Diagnostic actually has the largest intake out of all the Med Radiation Sciences. If I remember correctly, diagnostic takes about 90 students, radiation therapy has about 50 and nuclear med is about 30-35. (Though I haven't seen a lot of people on the boards from diagnostic either. ) Im sure some might be around... hehe

Why is radiation so unpopular this year, every year the cut offs sky rockets! this year u know all droped.

Yeah - it seemed to be a bit of a thing this year. According to the newspaper the dropping of UAI's was due to the increase in places being available across the courses. Therefore, I think a lot of the courses dropped as the demand wasn't as high as previous years.

Just out of interest - is anyone considering doing the bridging courses?
