Refer to above. You need at least 100 rep points for your rep, +ive or -ive, to count. So the only way to tell if they are good/bad is by the comments, if any.

As above. I have a few as well. It's a shame that their good will and offering can't count.

You seriously need 100 rep points? I swear i've given out tonnes of positive rep that's actually come out positive... and i've got <100 rep points.

You intend for it to be positive (when you choose the 'I approve' section), but on the receiving end, it's neutral.

Don't forget post count influences rep as well. When I was first a member I had a tonne of posts but barely any rep and yet my rep was still worth about 2. Better than nothing.

neutral rep is annoying when the comment is positive
yet funny when the comment is intended to be negative.

You don't need 100 points.
If you have 10+ points and 100+ posts, then your reps count.

I know there's an alternative method, 'cause I've seen people with <100 posts with reps that count.

So, say I've given out some rep but it turns out neutral... when my giving rep does actually count, is it retrospective i.e. previously given rep gains value?
