Another question: Outline possible future diretions of communcation technologies.

Wat would u write for an answer for that question?

regarding the time line, I'll see if I can post either some excel stuff later, and perhaps also my assessment task on this item as well (however it was based on telephone/mobile telephone).

Regarding the question, I was actually discussing this yesterday, and I believe it is only a new addition to the syllabus - so it has a higher chance of being asked .. I guess.

Anyhow.

In your answer, you can refer to the following:

Pick a technology - eg, use of video phones in typical household situations.

This involves

Technological Impact - eg, upgrade of fibre optic cables with higher quality materials to reduce signal degradation, reduce need for boosting, faster data transfer/higher capacity.

Sociological Impact - what will this mean for families? users?

Financial Impact - always a good negative for comparison etc.

And don't forget to make a judgement after weighing out the impacts if it is an evaluate of judgement question.

It would be wise to chose to utilise a technology that was studied as part of the course to expand upon...
