hi im currently trying to work out a rough timetable so im prepared for enrolment etc... this is a link to my course http://handbook.uws.edu.au/hbook/course.asp?course=3517
i know i have to do biology 1 and chemistry 1 in forst semester, and as an elective i want to choose digital forensic photography1. but i have to choose one more science alternative. can someone please list for me the courses i can choose from, thanx heaps

oh and also i have seen that all subjects have lectures and and pracs for my course, but is it normal for not all of them to have tutorials??? also when is it that we actually get assessments? is it from lectures, tutorials or pracs. i thought it was from tuts but i dont know now as not all my courses have tuts? should they have tuts?

thanx heaps

What I would do if I were you is in the first semester just do:

1. 300221 - Biology 1
2. 300224 - Chemistry 1
3. 300222 - Biology 2
4. 300225 - Chemistry 2

:).

but then wat will i do in semester 2.
i was thinking of doing biology 1, chemistry 1, botany and this other forensic subject as an elective as it is forensic science i hope to transfer to. u think this is a good idea if i do this coz botany and my elective r both in forensic science too, so if i can transfer ill b able to use them as credits. is it a good idea or not:)
i think my campus only has chemistry 2 and biology 2 for second semester

Yes, that would be a good idea for your two elective subjects. On the page you gave i your link it says:

Two Science alternatives [as listed in 3516 - Bachelor of Science (General Science)]
That is where your other two subjects should come from but I cannot find the page:).

only one comes from there, the other one is just an elective, i thought it could come from any course.
so i have only chosen one from the alternative list, coz i thought where it says 2 means that 1 for semester 1 and the other for semester 2

OK, considering you said that you cannot do 300222 - Biology 2 and 300225 - Chemistry 2 in semester 1 I would do the following:

Semester 1:

1. 300221 - Biology 1
2. 300224 - Chemistry 1
3. One Science alternative [as listed in 3516 - Bachelor of Science (General Science)]
4. One elective (digital forensic photography1)

Semester 2:

1. 300222 - Biology 2
2. 300225 - Chemistry 2
3. One Science alternative [as listed in 3516 - Bachelor of Science (General Science)]
4. One elective (botany)

:).

You can do this, no problem. Where is the Bachelor of Science (General Science) page though:confused:?

So far I think this is what you are going to be doing:

Semester 1:

1. 300221 - Biology 1
2. 300224 - Chemistry 1
3. 300328 Botany [as listed in 3516 - Bachelor of Science (General Science)]
4. One elective (digital forensic photography1)

Semester 2:

1. 300222 - Biology 2
2. 300225 - Chemistry 2
3. One Science alternative [as listed in 3516 - Bachelor of Science (General Science)]
4. One elective

:).

so botany is fine as an alternative science and forensi photographgy is fine for an elective.
thanks again for all your help and correcting me;)
