Need quick help with something basic (1 Viewer)

lets just say that x^1.33=7

how do i find x?

this is something ive forgotten.... been messing around with log rules but i still cant remember *slaps forehead*

No log rules needed. The answer is just the 1.33th root of 7. Plug in 1.33 in your calculator, hit the x(sqrt)y button and then hit 7 ...you should get like 4.3192 or someting. Answering these questinos is no different to, say, solving x^2 = 4. You just take the root of both sides, in this case the square root. For cubes you would take the cube root etc.

finally figured it out

its logx = log7 / 1.33

then 10^(the answer i got from above)


thats according to the logx^n = nlogx rule
