Need Help with bigpond cable (1 Viewer)

Ok...my bigpond cable has been going shitslow lately...i haven't used it much so i'm sure it's not capped...does anyone have the same problem...or does anyone has a solution...need help ^^

WELL I GOT CAPPED ALREADY FOR THIS MONTH

its gay cause they "improved" their technical "help" so they know almost immediately when you have gone over 10 gigs and then cap you very quickly

you used to be able to get away with downloading more

but since u say ur not capped im assuming its just a slow connection for today- bigpond r pretty gay

man...it's been slow since the start of the freaken month...bigpond is becoming so tightarse

yeah i think when the contract renewal comes along ill be leaving bigpond

its not worth it

I think they are having probs again...I hate bigpond cable the only reason I have it is coz we have foxtel as well. I remember when I first got it we had probs so often we got a few discounts on our bill. One day last week it was down from 11.30 till abt 4...

have you tried calling bigpond's help desk? they might be able to notify you if the problems at their side.

bigpond helpdesk is useless.

your internet is slow because of DNS issues bigpond has.

go to www.whirlpool.net.au and click on the bigpond forum. your magical answer is there!

Yeh like opening up a website or a page takes ages but once connected to the server, transfer rate is fast.

we're via bigpond cable as well....

Apparently the DNS server is dying, or partially dying...or whatever crazy thing it's doing now..

Sometimes, I can run msn, yim and email, but cant open a webpage - go figure!

Anyway, you can change your DNS server...and it works really well for a while...
