some things you might want to talk about:
- the countries use of short term loans to fund long term projects, and the collapse of these after the US market crashed.
- the suddenness was a huge impact - sort of like the Treaty of Versailles
- as hardship deepened and as the unemployment neared 6mil. The failure was assured as it fostered a loss of confidence in the W.R. Hardship of this scale generates political instability and this is what happened in germany it tipped the scale against W.R survival
- It was the result of breaking up the coalition with the SPD determined to keep welfare benefits which meant rising of taxes.
You could argue that the great depression only had such a huge effect because in the 'years of stability' problems in the economy were never taken care of, Germany had more imports than exports and the economy wasn't based on solid foundations.
