Hey,
I'm doing English Advanced and our prescribed text is Peter Skrzynecki's Immigrant Chronicle. For my text of my own choosing i'm planning on interviewing my father because he went through a very similar process as Skrzynecki, moving from post-WWII Poland to Australia.
I've run this idea through my teacher and she thinks its a great idea, mostly because of how unique it is.
The only problem is, is that i'm not sure what my questions should be.
My teacher said to base them around the rubric points, these being:
I'd greatly appreciate anyones input/comments/suggestions on this matter, no matter how little or great it is.
Any suggestions on 'questions which will provide answers that will easily link into Skrzynecki's poems' would be awesome.
Thanks everyone and i hope to hear back from people asap.
Thanks,
Nick

My teacher said to base them around the rubric points, these being:
- ways in which texts depics physical journeys and their impact
- different obstacles and movement to new places
- opportunities for travellers to extend themselves physically, intellectually and emotionally as they respond to challenges and learn more about themselves and the world around them
- underlying assumptions about physical journeys and the power of the physical journey to challenge your thinking
- reflect on the ways these physical journeys broaden your understanding of the world and themselves
I'd greatly appreciate anyones input/comments/suggestions on this matter, no matter how little or great it is.
