Need help on 2009 subject Scaling (1 Viewer)

can somebody explain how exactly scaling for each subject works? its definately not on a straight line distribution from 0 to 100, as last year economics scaling was better than modern history up to 95 but was worse after 95.

so wouldnt that mean scaling changes for each subject depending on your marks? which means that except for subjects that scale relatively better throughout the mark spectrum, there really isnt a "better" scaling subject until your relative actual marks are considered.
