Right now I have:
Gen. Math
Adv. Eng
SOR 2
Chem
Physics
IPT

I was considering dropping IPT and possibly taking up Senior Science or sticking with 10 units, but then I found out I'm coming 4th in it, which really threw off my plan.
Now I'm not sure that I want to stick with SOR 2 and possibly drop to SOR1.

I know this is really general/broad info, but I really need help on deciding what to do.
Right now I'm thinking of picking up Senior Science and consider dropping something in term 1 next year. but if I do that I'm not sure if I want to do SOR 1 or 2.

Please help :/ This stuff has been driving me insane - I don't really want to do 10 units, but I also want the study :(

I don't have anything against 10 units...but I normally advocate doing some of the HSC with more and seeing how your marks are then and dropping the weakest one.

Pros/cons list really help! Consider whether the subject is a pre req, your performance in it and your liking of the subject. Also is religion mandatory at your school? When you say picking up senior, are you keeping your other two sciences?

Okay well I'm definitely keeping Physics, Chem, Math, and Eng. But I really have no idea what to do with SOR and IPT. I'm doing well in IPT but don't really enjoy it as much as others and don't really want to do a major work. A religion course is mandatory and I'm doing average in 2 unit. If I pick up senior science I would keep my other sciences and I feel I would be quite good at it.

I also think I might need to rethink my ATAR aim :/

I think you'd find Snr super easy doing Phys/Chem like you are. Umm to me it sounds like you should drop IPT if you really don't want to do a major and don't like it. And if you don't really like/do super well religion, why don't you drop to the 1u?

From the information you've given me, I would recommend (ultimately your decision though, you won't be happy unless it's your decision)
Adv Eng
Gen Maths
Chem
Phys
Snr Science
Studies of Religion 1
Therefore grand total of 11. But you could do IPT and have 13 and drop a 2u course that you're doing worst in in the HSC year.

Okay, I'm back for more help with my decision-making :/

I came 4th in IPT (With a mark of 80) at the end of the prelim course but I don't want to do a major project. I don't want to do 10 units either so I am thinking of picking up Senior Science, I am doing well in Physics and Chem and have been told that I could easily achieve a band 6 in SS.

What are your opinions on picking up SS? I really need help with this.
