No but I recommend that you read as many short stories either on the web or form books in your local library, read random articles on wikipedia, and watch as many philosophical and meaningful movies and documentaries as possible to get some ideas flowing. Make sure that the reading is broad and not concentrated on one particular topic or a few. Basically, just broaden your knowledge and ideas should then flow from that pertaining to science, philosophy (read on existentialism, skepticism, epistemology, ethics or something philosophically similar), history or society-- there are a lot of past events in history that could be made into potential good narratives. These ideas from which your story is based on should make your writing and narrative unique. Many of the best stories in the world have been critiques on the world and human nature. Before you start this, make sure you buy a notepad and a pencil and keep this always with you so that when an idea comes into your head for a story you can write it down. Write the idea down immediately and don't tell yourself 'I'll remember to write it down later' because you won't and you probably will be stuck in your writer's block for some more time to come.
