you're doing quite well, i'm thinking about ATAR 97-98 but it depends on your school's strengths sometimes - some schools may generally do really well at maths or english and that would boost you up

you can make some general estimations with your rank and your school's rank

her schools nice rank makes it abit easier to estimate aswell. oh and subjects

The thing is - your ranks, although they sound really nice - mean absolutely nothing, because your school is ranked in the 400s, and also, because of the fact that some of your subjects have three people.

On the other hand, the OP's schools is well ranked, and her ranks are decent, for a fairly large cohort. In other words, it's easier to guestimate an ATAR.

@OP - Probably 95+ but push up your english.

probably about 97-98.5. Your english is low, probably around a lowish 80 but your other marks i'd presume to be low band 6's.

What rank should I be aiming for for a mark of 85 in English?

Its hard to say because we don't know the performance of your cohort in english. My school is 22nd but we only get 25 band 6's in english. I'm 26th atm grr! I'd say you guys would get 20 purely based on ranks and that your cohort is greater than 120. In that case you'd need to be at the bare minimum in the mid 40's but probably you'd be safe in the mid-high 30's
