Hey guys, I was just wondering what ATAR I am looking at currently.

English Adv - 42/186
Math 2u - 78/119
PDHPE - 2/36
German - 4/12
Polish - 3/6

For english, I usually get around 80% for essays
Maths is usually around 60% but Im working very hard on this
I finished on about 89% for PDHPE (taking into account the weightings and all that for assessments)
German is around 75-80% atm, may be a bit higher if i keep pushing
Polish is at 95%

Im working hard every day, not long left now..
Seeing as I do 2 languages my year advisor said it would be pretty difficult to estimate, but what do you guys think?
Maths is the only problem but as I said im working very hard on this and by the time the exam comes around I should be getting 75-80% on past papers.

Thanks heaps in advance!! (my school is ranked in the top 100 if this helps, somewhere around 60 i think..)

Also, does anyone have any last minute tips to boost marks?

You are working hard. SO I assumed that you get the goods (results).

SO:
taking into account near-the-top ranks in mostsubjects, and probably a high school rank (or Open High School) IF they let you do POLISH...

ATAR = approx. 96.05.

Good LUCK!!!

Best last minute tip to boost marks (for people like YOU who have been and STILL ARE working hard all yr):

SLEEP. EARLY SLEEP AND LOTS OF IT... approx. 10 hours or AT LEAST EIGHT every single night.

Other less helpful/still good/MICHAEL CARR-GREG psychologist tips:

-Chew gum during the examinations (helps you focus);
- Don't splurge on junk food until AFTER each exam...you really do NOT want to feel bloated during an exam...;
- RELAX;
- Have fun! You've worked hard for this; you may as well ENJOY it, even if just a little bit.

James... :)

By saying unrealistic marks like that ur disheartening her.
Ill be honest if you pickup your maths mark you could pull a 90+
At the moment your at mid 80's

Fuck off, I was trying to be nice. I'm not disheartening her, I'm just being a kind person! duh.

Realistically I think she's looking at 89.95. Okay?

Edit: My estimate takes into account the UAI--->ATAR change.

And mid 80's my ass.

86/89 that is not much different. And she said something like, "I'm doing my best and studying hard" so of course her marks will improve, given she studies. If she never studied, unless she was an intellectual, her marks would not have improved.\My estimate is not overgenerous, and I am only defending it because I know people on here try to be TOO precise...and therefore ruin people's esteem, causing them to get nervous and have a bad day on the exam!!

grrrr

There's a difference between being kind and being dishonest.

That said, kaiwoktna, if you pick up your marks particularly in maths, I think you could achieve 90+.
