Love that movie... and I'm not a romantic movie fan...
Shame about the supposed Prequel Windstruck... good movie start, but lost it in the end.

Have you guys seen Il Mare? Also starring the girl in My Sassy girl, the storyline is very interesting, a slow movie though, but the ending is a killer!

I know it's a fairly old movie, but who loves the Korean movie "My Sassy Girl"?

Jeon Ji Hyun aka 'the girl'

After hearing a lot about it, I watched it for the first time yesterday on DVD, director's cut. I have to say it was really unusual! It broke a lot of stereotypes about gender roles, it was funny, sweet and intriguing. Possibly my new favourite movie... oh and I didn't realise the male lead was played by the Korean singer Cha Tae Hyun till today! It really didn't look like him.

For people unfamiliar with the movie:
the sequel's a bit tacky.
still cool though.

haha i watched it again yesterday with my baby sister next to me...
i was teary throughout a lot of it, and at the end, when his aunty is squeezing his cheeks and he glances at the girl and realises it's her, i burst into tears of happiness hahaha... and my sister looked at me in shock and gave me a hug... and i couldn't stop crying, so she gave me another hug, and then SHE started crying ... (she's only two) :D

god i love this movie... *sighs dreamily* :p

Wow way to bump an old thread! But I loovvveed this movie ^^ Hilarious and touching... I didn't like the prequel though... maybe because I expected more from it. I suppose it's watchable enough, if only once.
