I've just begun my Society & Culture PIP and after a month or two of constantly changing topics I've come to one I think I'd enjoy working on for a long period of time.

Basically, my question is 'Why does Generation Z want to grow up so quickly?'

I'm going to be looking at a range of influencing factors including the music & television in the media, celebrity role models, possible influence from their parents, I'll be focusing a lot on the emergence of TWEENS, socialisation and a lot of other factors which will be covered in my secondary research.

I'll be interviewing a range of parents, tweens between 12-15, psychologists and high school teachers for my primary research. I plan on compiling questionnaires for all my primary research candidates. Im also going to be doing a lot of observation methods inside and outside of school. Im going to be using my 12 year old sister and 15 year old cousin as the key observations. I'm sure I'll be able to find a lot of secondary information which will support my research.

My cross cultural component is the current generation of today and the generation of the parents of teenagers and pretty much compare all the apparent 'influencing factors' with my parent's generation.

It's a lame and general title, so could anyone please help me with refining it and possibly including a S&C key term in it to make more appealing to the markers?

Your topic seems well though out and has a really good potential for "continuity and change" which was really shoved down our throats last year.
I am terrible with titles so I can't really help you out with that, though you need to make it stand out as a lot of PIPs I have seen seem to use ideas similar to this one.
Good luck with it :)
