My laptop ate my dvd! (1 Viewer)

I just bought a new toshiba laptop and today i inserted a disc, expecting windows media to pop up, instead nothing happened so when i opened the drive, nothing was there! and to prove i'm not going insane, every time i move my laptop from side to side it rattles! please dont reply unless you intend on helping me!!

Take it back and demand they fix it.

The toshibas have the click-down thing in the middle of the cd drive don't they, how in fuck's name did you manage to bypass that :|

I don't think you can demand it to be fixed, without cost, if you put in the disc improperly,
i.e, not making sure it "clicked" into the centre.

Do you know how to use a computer? :haha:

As many have already said, take it back to the shop.
Opening it yourself will only void the warranty.



But I do have to say, LOL.

I do not how this would happen, CD's do not just disappear, it has nowhere to go, maybe open your drive get a light and see if you can see it.

maybe open it, move it from side, to side and see if it falls out
