LOL

I can imagine your anti virus saying:

"Your computer is infected with a virus, however you cannot do anything about it"

I had the same problem awhile ago with a damn virus, and it only a little pesky blaster32. Same deal with the trojan here, the anti-virus came up with a very helpful 'Virus detected blah blah, cannot fix infected file'. The Symantec blaster remover couldn't do the job, msconfig and regedit wouldn't load, so I just reformatted over the damn bastard.

i recommend AVG.. its free adn quite good at detecting and removing... if u cant remove the virus it could be cuz u have system restore activated .. if u have winxp of course.. so it cant remove it.. also.. if it has infected an actual installed program u may need to uninstall teh program.. but most likely it will say u cant cuz the program is now changed and all that jazz... so then just delete the actual file and remove it from add/remove programs... could be a bit messy but then u could remedy that by reinstalling the prgram and yea.. much quicker and better than formatting ur comp... if ur getting alot of email viruses then that prolly means u have a virus on ur ocmp already.. probably a netsky virus... u might wanna get the tool that symantec has... www.symantec.com (have a look there somewhere..) if not... switch to AVG! i think the sites www.grisoft.com... or someifnk like that... old antivirus programs arent gonna always protect u.. even with *updated* signatures...

Yeah, I had something like that too - on my laptop. Comes up with a message every time I switch it on saying Norton found a such and such worm virus and can't delete it. All we did was send the laptop to a local comp guy to see if he could get the wireless net running for home use (I use wireless at uni) got it back - and ended up Norton detecting 3 worm viruses, 2 I *think* I got rid of, another I can't. Oh I got AVG on it - would have a clue how to use it - all he said was run AVG and download the upgrades -

That's the one I got, blaster32 - had to other blaster worms which I had to disable in order to delete them, located them in a file on C drive, this one is located in some systems file, ha, right, don't even have no such file on the laptop.

Anyway, sorry going a little OT here. Later.
