I agree with arj1, its easier to do the work yourself. Sure they get credit for it, but as long as they cant stuff you up who really cares. Just like the old saying goes, if you want a job done properly, do it yourself.

guys will i ave to do group assigments in actuarial/adv maths degree? surely not
m8 more to uni then doing maths all day. There going to make you do other shit so you dont become isolated nerd in the workplace that sits in corner and does maths.

word. I know that most science/engineering students at uncle have to do a course for, pretty much, that exact reason. There's one for science about working in the lab and lab procedures and there's one for engineers about working with others and working in groups.

I've also seen some 3rd year maths students in maths clinic working on group stuff. So yeah... can't jump the group work ship, i'm afraid.
