You see, artfag, lyrics along the line of:

A seed of hate from the day I was born
My right to vengeance from me has been torn
Hopeless and drugged - my black emotions seethe
Loveless and cold - my hate begins to breed.

tend to bear more meaning to today's society than the lyrics:

I said ooo...ooo...oooo...ooooooo
Do Me Baby, Do Me Baby, give it to me
Do Me Baby, I want u now
Do Me Baby, give it to me

There are many more things to worry about in modern-day society than just whether or not (in your case, most likely not) you're going to get some in the next day or two. Contemplating why on Earth young people today feel the need to kill is something I think of as a more effective use of my time.

last time i checked, and i am all-knowing i remind you, hate cannot breed as it is an emotion

also, australia has no bill of rights, so the right to vengeance is certainly not guaranteed by statute

having fought in over seven wars, most of which i single handedly won, i also remind you that the current society of which you are a member has not faced conscription or invasion or a great depression and so such depressed, angsty lyrics would, rather than bearing some sort of deeper meaning, be a result of poor songwriting skills and a low quality human being such as yourself

a cliche such as yourself i have not come across since my stint writing hallmark cards during 'nam

Dear, darling Grag,
7 wars, oh, I must admit, you are my ultimate hero. Therefore, such being said, I bow down before your almighty power and forever more choose to conform to your narrow-minded, petty paths of thought, forgetting as I do so the works of Jung and Freud, whom I had thought to have taught me such self-knowledge. I will conform to your world of war and nightmares where an individual is individual no longer. I will conform to your useless wars.
Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum.

Why? Because my name is Egyptian, I speak Latin, I'm a sarcastic bitch? Take your pick, darling, you know you want to.

There's no trying involved. I am different. Because I choose to be me. Maybe you should try being you one day, you might (heaven forbid!) enjoy it. Or maybe you just enjoy shooting people. When you go to your wars, do you laugh at every child you shoot. Do you laugh as you destroy them? You say you got rid of us in the French Revolution, but we remain. Why? Why, why, why? Because we choose to. Never underestimate the power of the choices you make.

Apologies to all. Except dear, darling Grag. We seem to have come off track. Music that rules. We're still loving Ben Folds.

british indie rocknroll band..think a bit of the smiths and the clash..very shambolic and rambuncious, and brilliant songwriting..but the band has been shelved because of many reasons...i.e think proper rocknrokl band...drugs...stints in prisons and rehab...stealing...fighting...and the whole British tabloids and supermodels..

its possibly a bit too british which stops it from being mainstream(which is fantastic as it stops losers like Grobus and Breaking from knowing it)
